Your Website is Your Home Base in the Digital World
No matter how small your business or organization – you need a website.
At the very least, your website should serve as your business card on the web. It’s out there so people can find you.
It should be easy to find. Give it a name that reflects what you do and where you are:
www.lamesaplumbing.com
www.sandiegorestraurantsupply.com
The 2 Golden Rules:
Content is King. People so often overlook copywriting. I have never been asked to do a website where someone gave me the text. Words are more important than design. This leads us to the next issue
Keep it Simple. Make navigation easy to understand. Make sure people can figure out how to get to where they are going. Avoid confusing links.
If you have a bigger budget – go for the bells and whistles. But avoid the over doing it. A lot of web developers will give you more than you need because they can do it. There is a lot of cool web technology that is fun for the developers. But they can slow the downloading of your website, make things harder to find, etc.
Every website should have an option for visitors to sign up for more information. People who do are your gold mine. Don’t let that opportunity pass you by.
We provide simple websites, such as this, starting at $200 – complete.
